GUARANTEE

We offer Service Guarantees for many of our drain cleaning services.

Any return trips that may be needed are scheduled during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm), as scheduling and weather allows.

SMALL DRAINS & main line cabling

We guarantee Small Drains (sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, urinals, floor drains, roof vents, stacks, etc) and Main Lines in good, working condition to be free flowing for 30 days from the date of service.

Should the line back up due to regular use within 30-day guarantee window from service date, we will come back to the property ONE time during regular business hours to clear the line, free of charge.

Subsequent visits or lines plugged for reasons other than regular use are subject to regular billing rates.

full flow restoration

Full Flow Restoration carries a 2-year (730 days) Limited Warranty against tree roots.

Should the line back up, due to tree roots exclusively, within 2 years of the Full Flow Restoration service date, we will come back to the property ONE time during regular business hours to hydro-jet the line, free of charge.

Subsequent visits or main lines plugged with obstructions other than tree roots are subject to regular billing rates.

SEWER INSPECTIONS

Our Inspection Manager reviews and completes every sewer inspection, and makes his judgments based on 10+ years of experience in the sewer & drain cleaning industry.

The findings of this inspection are based on the opinions and education of the inspector and reflect the conditions discovered at the time of the inspection only. This is not intended as a code inspection, warranty or guarantee, nor is it intended to itemize every "flaw".

Per Permit and Development Center for Des Moines, Windsor Heights and Urbandale properties, "Effective July 1, 2018, if any portion of a bituminous fiber sewer pipe (Commonly referred to as Orangeburg pipe) fails, the bituminous fiber sewer pipe must be fully replaced. Repairs will no longer be allowed to be made to bituminous fiber sewer pipe. The building sewer must be replaced in its entirety from the building to the public sanitary sewer with a material that is in compliance with the plumbing code adopted by the City." For questions or concerns, please contact your City Permits Department officials.

COMMERCIAL DRAINS

Due to the high frequency of use and issues caused by tenants, commercial drains have no guarantee, written or implied.

hydro-jetting

JetSurge does not offer a guarantee, written or implied, for hydro-jetting without televising after the service. We are not responsible for repeat back-ups or clogs due to these issues.

Should the line back up shortly after service, we will recommend televising, once the line is cleared at the regular billing rate, to determine condition of the pipe and next steps.

For customers looking for a guarantee of their Hydro-Jetting services from the start, we recommend a Full Flow Restoration which includes hydro-jetting + televising after the service to confirm the condition of the pipe, the absence of roots, and prove visually that the line is flowing freely.

IMPROPER USE

Customers should always take care in what is placed down their drains, limiting to only what is meant for sewer drainage lines: gray water, waste, toilet paper.

Improper use of drain lines can cause unnecessary back ups in drain lines, even shortly after services are rendered. We are not responsible for repeat back-ups or clogs due to Improper Use.

Should the line back up within 30-day guarantee window from service date, we will come back to the property ONE time during regular business hours to clear the line. Backups due to Improper Use are subject to regular billing rates.

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Excessive debris

  • Food, grease, hair

  • Foreign objects

  • Unflushables (tampons, wipes, paper towels, excessive paper products)

BROKEN, DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PIPES

JetSurge does not offer a guarantee, written or implied, on work completed in pipes that are not in good, working condition. We are not responsible for repeat back-ups or clogs due to these issues.

Pipes that are properly maintained and kept in good condition are safe to withstand cabling, televising and hydro-jetting. Pipe conditions are the responsibility of the property owner, which includes any and all pipes within the full sewer drainage system. Broken, damaged or defective pipes should be remedied immediately by customer. JetSurge is not responsible for damage to access points, small drains, main lines or any points throughout the drainage system that are not in good condition.


DUE DATES

JetSurge extends billing accounts to qualified Commercial customers only. For these commercial billing customers, full invoice balance is due and payable by due date.

For all other customers, full invoice balance is due at the time of service (cash, check, credit card) with no exceptions.


LATE FEES

Late fee of 2% per month (24% per annum) assessed on invoices over 30 days past due.

unforeseen infrastructure defects

Please understand that the vast majority of our calls don’t encounter these issues because JetSurge’s technicians are highly trained and responsible specialists.

In the unlikely event that we encounter an unforeseen defect or failure of your drainage system and the drain system failure or clogged drain causes an infrastructure problem which entraps our equipment, the customer understands they are responsible for all costs and damages required to recover or replace any and all of our equipment, which would include but is not limited to hydro-jetting hoses, nozzles, locators, cameras, cables, and hardware, and any repair costs to the customer’s property.

unsafe or hazardous working conditions

JetSurge reserves the right to refuse service in a work area that we deem is unsafe for our service technicians either from a health or safety standpoint. In this instance, we reserve the right to charge a trip charge for our time, which may be applied to future service once the area is safe working for our service technicians to work in.

PROPERTY OR PERSONAL EFFECTS DAMAGE

Customers are asked to clear a 15-foot radius of the work area and remove any personal belongings or effects, including from walkways or pathways to and from the work area. JetSurge is not responsible for moving or assisting in moving anything from work areas, nor are we responsible for any personal belongings or effects left within those areas that may become soiled or damaged. Photos may be required.

Customer is responsible to report damage to the office within 24 hours of the service, by phone or email.
